Anchored in international tax law and applied to global operations, customs is now a strategic ally in developing international trade. This is the vision defended and the common thread of this program's teachings.

What our alumni say about it

This year I had the opportunity to follow the Master's program specializing in Tax Law, Customs/Customs Compliance. The program is fascinating, as the courses are so varied and of such high quality. The richness of this training lies not only in the diversity of the program's teachers, who are sometimes university professors, sometimes practitioners, but also in the fact that course participants come from totally different backgrounds. These factors foster and nurture the quality of the exchanges.

By the end of the program, many customs-related skills have been acquired. The elements involved in calculating customs duties, suspensive regimes for these duties, customs declarations, the VAT system for international operations... are all subjects that hold no secrets for students who have had the chance to follow this specialized Master's program! What's more, these subjects are systematically contextualized, providing a critical perspective on the discipline.

In addition to its fascinating character, this customs training is also very useful in view of the renewed interest in customs matters on the part of European authorities. Litigation is likely to increase, particularly in Liège, where the airport has seen an exponential growth in B2C trade flows. Mastery of customs techniques is therefore a serious asset, now and in the years to come..

In short, this specialized Master's degree is a unique opportunity to specialize in a tax field that is clearly neglected at present.
