General Taxation
The Specialised Master in Tax Law is a joint organisation of the Faculty of Law, Political Science and Criminology and HEC Liege, in partnership with the Tax Institute of the University of Liege
Why?
Because of the ubiquity of taxation, taxation is a key element in the management decisions of companies and individuals. Tax implications often determine the economic validity of management decisions. Therefore, they must be mastered perfectly by the company director and his advisors. European integration and globalization also increase the importance of international taxation. The complexity and rapid evolution of this subject justify the need for specific training and regular updates.
How?
The program is divided into two options: "Business (national and international aspects)" and "Heritage (national and international aspects)" and covers Belgian, European and international taxation, taught in a pragmatic way by the best specialists.
Because of the rapid evolution of tax laws, every specialist must also regularly update his knowledge. Update seminars are therefore added to the training.
For whom?
This program trains for the profession of tax consultant or certified tax specialist. It is intended for university graduates, chartered accountants and tax officials who wish to further their training in the field of taxation. It is also an undeniable asset for company auditors, lawyers, corporate auditors, executives and managers of accounting and financial departments.
