The School Board is in charge of strategic choices, budget and programs.
A unique governance model
HEC Liège is the Faculty of Management and Economics of the University of Liège. Its mode of governance allows it to react quickly to issues:
- HEC Liège has management delegations at both the strategic and operational levels, conferred by the decree of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation when HEC merged with the Management and Economics departments of the University of Liège in 2005.
- HEC Liège benefits from a unique anchorage in the economic world which allows it to be a driving force in the economic development of its region and to be able to quickly adapt its teaching to the realities of its environment and the professional world.
This anchoring is reflected in the fact that the business world is well represented, alongside academics, in our bodies:
The Governance Council
Composed mainly of representatives of national and international companies, the Governance Council is responsible for evaluating the strategic positioning of the School and helping to find the appropriate additional financial resources.
The Group for HEC Liège
Composed of representatives of local companies, the Group for HEC Liège is a central element in the relationship that the School maintains with its stakeholders and in particular, the business world and the economic environment in general.
