Language courses

 All HEC Liège graduates will master at least two foreign languages by the end of their academic career:

• English: intensive Business English course in Bachelier (7 credits (3h/week)). In the Master's program, there are no longer any English courses but the majority of courses are in English.
• A second foreign language from Bac 1 to Master 2.

We offer two levels of learning:

• Standard level: these are courses for beginners (no pre-requisites). 
  Languages offered: German, Chinese (! course given in English), Spanish, Italian.
• Advanced level: for students who have already learned the language in high school.
  Languages offered: German, Spanish, Dutch.

In Dutch, highly motivated beginners can catch up with their studies by taking an additional 30 hours of classes in the first block of the Bachelor's program.
 
In the Master's program, students can also start a third language (German, Chinese, Spanish, Italian or Dutch)

Good to know: the number of credits allocated to language courses in the bachelor's degree is the highest in French-speaking Belgium.
