HEC Liège-École de gestion de l'Université de Liège has been awarded the BSIS label for the fourth time, by EFMD (European Foundation for Management Development) and FNEGE (Fondation nationale pour l'enseignement de la gestion des entreprises). BSIS assesses the overall impact of a business school on its environment through seven key dimensions: financial, entrepreneurial, educational, intellectual, regional, societal and image.

Wallonia invests in social economy research and education - November, 2022

Based on the virtuous dynamics of the escap project, the results of the ULiège chair in social economy for more than 10 years and the international reputation of the Centre d'Economie Sociale of HEC Liège created in 1992, three new chairs specialized in social economy - or chairES - have just been launched at the beginning of the 2022 academic year at UCLouvain, UMONS and ULB. The Centre for Social Economy is coordinating this project.

Troisième édition du HEC Liège Business Game : deux challenges sur les thèmes de la transition climatique et de la mobilité - March, 2022

Eleven students from HEC Liège have just organized - in collaboration with BDO Belgium and Liege Airport - the third edition of the HEC Liège Business Game, which brought together 60 participants. This project, created in 2019, attracts more and more students each year. It is an opportunity for participants to hone their skills, to surpass themselves, to meet new people and, above all, to have a privileged contact with representatives of partner companies.

BSIS Label : Etude d'impact de HEC Liège - Ecole de Gestion de l'Université de Liège sur son environnement - February 2022

HEC Liège has obtained the renewal of the BSIS (Business School Impact System) label, which measures its impact on its local and regional environment as well as its contribution to the development of its region. HEC Liège is the only Business School in Belgium to currently hold this label. Last October, HEC Liège stakeholders (professors, students, graduates, companies) met with two BSIS experts, Prof. Debra Leighton (UK) and Jérôme Caby (F). The exchanges had allowed to highlight in a very relevant and efficient way the impact of the School but also the collective work done by the whole HEC Liège community.

Anticiper l’après-crise du Covid-19 : quels enseignements en matière de télétravail et de formation à distance? - October, 2021

In many companies, the health crisis has precipitated the generalization of telework. In contrast to what was practiced until now in some companies - a limited, voluntary and carefully supervised telework - this massive telework experience has turned out to be total, imposed and spontaneous. Here are some of the results of a recent survey conducted by the LENTIC (Laboratoire d'Etudes sur les Nouvelles formes de Travail, l'Innovation et le Changement) - HEC Liège-ULiège, which questioned the attitudes and perceptions of managers and HRDs towards telework.

New research highlights employee dissatisfaction in Private Equity buyouts - September, 2021

Oxford Saïd Business School and HEC Liège (Management School of the University of Liège, Belgium) have published research giving insights into the effects of Private Equity buyouts on the satisfaction of employees.
