The result of a collaboration between HEC-Liège and the Faculty of Law, Political Science and Criminology, the Master in Management with a Focus in Law is the first step in a program that makes it possible to combine two specialized courses and obtain both degrees.

This unique possibility in Belgium meets the expectations of various professional sectors looking for high-level employees with solid managerial and legal skills.

In addition to the requirement of a complete training in the two disciplines concerned, the project also wants to meet the following objectives

  • Create a synergy between Law and Management students by bringing them together, for certain courses, in the same auditorium, from the first year of training
  • Impose the mastery of two languages other than French: English and Dutch
  • Organize the end-of-studies work in the form of a transdisciplinary thesis
  • To carry out an internship

For whom?

The Law-Management program is designed for future Master in Management students who wish to acquire advanced legal skills that will enable them to access a wide range of career opportunities.

This program is accessible only by application. The aim of the selection process is to ensure that the candidates are genuinely motivated and have the ability to grasp subjects related to the legal sector.

At the end of this program, our graduates will have a dual culture profile. They will be trained in cutting-edge sectors, in a transversal manner, from the first year of the Master's program.

The journey

The Law-Management program consists of three years of study leading to a Master in Management and a Master in Law.

Following the bachelor's degree, students continue their studies with the Master in Management with a specialization in Law, which already includes 30 credits from the Master in Law.

After having obtained this first degree, the student can enroll in the Master in Law with a specialization in Law and Management to obtain his second degree by devoting only one academic year to it.
