HEC Liège offers its students and staff modern facilities and equipment, both for teaching activities and everyday life on campus.
4 hybrid teaching rooms
Several rooms are fully equipped to deliver hybrid teaching (on-site and remote) simultaneously, in a seamless and natural way. It is possible to share screens, use the whiteboard, annotate presentations live, conduct polls, or give the floor to remote speakers, while seeing all participants displayed on wall-mounted screens.
Most of our meeting rooms are also equipped to host high-quality video conferences.
2 studios for professional video production
HEC Liège has two recording studios for the production of educational or promotional videos: one for staff members and one for students.
The Spot!
This new studio—made available to our students—is dedicated to video production and the development of soft skills (oral communication, speaking in front of a camera, etc.).
What you can do there: academic or professional projects, pitch sessions, or oral presentations.
Available equipment: green screen, smartphone tripod, lavalier microphones for smartphones, professional lighting (2 spotlights), stabilizer (upon specific request), 2 high stools, 15 chairs with writing tablets, and a wall-mounted television.
A studio is also available for staff members and includes the following equipment:
- A lightboard: a transparent glass whiteboard with integrated lighting that makes writing stand out. This custom-made illuminated board, developed by the laboratories of ULiège, allows presenters to write and draw while maintaining eye contact with their audience, delivering their message in a natural and engaging way.
- A green screen: it allows presenters to be isolated from the studio environment so that any animated or static image can be seamlessly inserted in the background or around them. Post-production makes it possible to enrich videos with all types of content, resulting in more polished and higher-quality presentations.
