Real support towards employment
Did you know that HEC Liège has a "Career Development" service designed to help our students in this process?
The Career Development service
This service is the interface between students, the school and the world of work. It provides support to students throughout their studies at HEC Liège:
- Blocks 1 and 2: individual support, on request, for a (re)orientation of studies
- Block 3: reflection and support to refine the choice of Master's degree and the final destination
At Master's level, the department is stepping up its activities. They aim to meet students' needs and help them define their career plans.

During the job preparation days, it's great to have a professional come just for you, to help you improve and correct your mistakes! It's very close to the reality that I experienced in real interviews.
HEC Liège Career Center - empowered by Jobteaser
Students can fine-tune their career plans independently thanks to the Career Center. The platform provides access to internship offers, job vacancies, events (organized by the School's partner), personal development tests and articles, and feedback from other students.
- Offers exclusively reserved for HEC Liège students
- Offers from HEC Liège partners
- Offers posted by HEC Liège alumni
International opportunities
HEC Liège encourages its students to gain international experience during their academic career. A number of tools and partnerships are available to support them in this process.
The school is a member of the EFMD, whose GetHighered platform offers a wide range of internships and jobs abroad.
HEC Liège is also a partner of Belcham, which coordinates the J-1 Visa program. This program provides students wishing to do an internship in the United States with structured, secure support throughout their project.
Career Events
Building a career plan takes time, and benefits from concrete exchanges with the business world. With this in mind, each academic year HEC Liège organizes several events dedicated to career guidance and employability.
- The Journée de Préparation à l'Embauche is aimed at students, and is designed to prepare them for the Career Events that follow. It enables them to better understand the expectations of recruiters and to anticipate future professional meetings.
- Career Day and Career Night are recruitment forums that put Master HEC Liège students in touch with companies looking for interns and recent graduates.
- What's Next is an evening dedicated to HEC Liège alumni, who come to share their career paths and areas of specialization. This event gives final-year students the chance to talk to young professionals and ask questions about the transition to the world of work.
- Lunch & Networking are informal lunchtime meetings between a company and a small group of Master's students. They provide an opportunity to discover an organization, talk freely with its representatives and gain a better understanding of its recruitment procedures.
