Together, they trace the evolution of the Smart City concept — from an initially highly techno-centered approach designed for large metropolises, to a more human, inclusive vision adapted to all territories, from neighborhoods to the European scale.
The conversation also highlights the key role of collaboration among public, private, academic, and citizen stakeholders, as well as the importance of an interdisciplinary approach. In the sustainable transition of territories, there is no one-size-fits-all solution — each context requires tailor-made responses built through collective intelligence.
